Open Doors Launch

The Open Doors Initiative has created a community of businesses and organisations across Ireland that are passionate about creating pathways to employment for marginalised groups within Irish society. Fuel were challenged to produce a launch event featuring MC Martina Fitzgerald; Open Doors Initiative Chairman, Oliver Loomes; Open Doors CEO Jeanne McDonagh; and keynote speaker Leo Varadkar TD, Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment. The panel discussed the barriers and supports they have experienced and what impact this has had on achieving employment and their future career aspirations. In a time of great challenge and opportunity, leaders and employees want to embrace change and play their part in addressing inequality. A fair, equal and inclusive society is one in which people, businesses and organisations can thrive so if you are interested in hearing what role you and your organisations/company can play, then join us and our line-up of inspiring speakers with lived experience, as they tell their stories of success in the workplace. At a time when certain Covid 19 restrictions were in place, Fuel studios would be used to host the Chairperson and panellists, and Leo Varadkar was linked in live from a remote location to deliver his keynote address. Fuel managed the delivery on a virtual events platform, registration and management of guests, technical production and set design.
